Angel Tree

A beautiful Christmas tree placed in the Sanctuary - this is a Memorial Tree and is adorned with little angels and a message indicating the name(s) of those being lovingly remembered.  Donations and names of those being remembered are collected through December.

Donations can be put in an envelope with your name and include name(s) of the loved ones being remembered, and may be placed on the offering plate at Sunday Service, or donation can be made through our GIVE page.

Dining Fundraiser Events

Binbrook United Church has an amazing history of being the place to go for home-made dinners, lunches and preordered and prepared food items for fundraising within our faith community.  The dedication and skills of all volunteers is greatly appreciated, as they prepare amazing dishes in our Certified kitchen on site.  Health and safety standards are paramount.

Diner’s Club Meals - Social Outing for Seniors

Binbrook United Church regularly hosts the Diner’s Club lunch in affiliation with Glanbrook Community Services, providing a delicious, nourishing meal combined with a social outing for Seniors in the community.

Our amazing team of volunteers have served over 60 diners per sitting, with menus having included beef stroganoff with carrots and peas, side dish of pickled beets, bun, beverage and warmed peach crisp and ice cream for dessert!  The menus are varied with each lunch event, assuring a new dining experience each time!

This is a wonderful way for our Community Seniors to enjoy both a hearty lunch and community fellowship while at the same time, giving support to Binbrook United Church.

Coffee and Conversation

Every Thursday morning from 9-11:30 am in the gym, Coffee & Conversation is an opportunity for anyone who wishes to come out for some delicious goodies and coffee or tea and get to know your neighbours!  A “Free-will offering” is received.

Meat Pie Fundraiser

Periodically a work bee will gather in the church kitchen to make/prepare the most tasty meat pies that are ready to put into your oven at home for a quick and nourishing meal.

Park Lane Jewellery Fundraiser

Periodically Park Lane Jewellery will be present for the sale of jewellery. Fifty percent of all sales are returned to the church. Check "Events at a Glance" or "Event Calendar" for dates when available.

Jams

A very special lady in our congregation so generously gives her time to make delicious jams, jellies, and relishes for us to sell.  Most are offered at $5 a jar with proceeds going back to the church. These make for wonderful, homemade gifts and treats!  They sell out quickly!

FundScrip

A very beneficial and on-going Fundraiser, Fundscrip provides the purchasing of gift cards through Binbrook United Church for nearly 300 retailers, and a percentage of every sale is returned to the church.

Make your day-to-day purchases, gift giving, grocery shopping and other purchases easy, while supporting the church.

A downloadable form is available when you create a user profile on Fundscrip, or alternatively, forms are always available at the church in the Sunday School Room or contact the church office for more information. Orders are submitted monthly.

Alternately, you can link through FundScrip.com, click on “Support a Group” (top right) and the Invitation Code to support Binbrook United Church is KK5GE3. You may then populate your order, and it can be shipped to you, or it can be shipped on next delivery to Binbrook United Church where you can pick up.
