Accessible Facilities & Parking

The west-side parking lot and entrance is accessible in design and is the location of the elevator and staffed operator, which leads to both the Sanctuary on one level, and the accessible washroom facilities, and larger gathering rooms on the lower level. Washroom facilities include a baby changing area. The sanctuary is large and spacious, allowing for accessible devices.

The second (main) parking lot is on the east side of the church, and entry to the church building is easily accessed by doors adjacent to the parking lot, or the main, welcoming front doors of the church.

 Sunday Worship Services

Join us every Sunday at 10:45 a.m. for pre-worship service singing of both traditional favourites and contemporary music followed by the Sunday Service at 11:00 a.m.  

Upon entering the church, you will be warmly greeted and given a bulletin of updated announcements. With respect to environmental concerns, the worship service is formatted on PowerPoint, but some printed copies of the service are available for those needing or requesting them.

The pre-service singing time helps to warm up our voices with a combination of old favourites and more contemporary worship music. Additionally, in the pre-service time, the announcements are read and highlights of special events in the lives of our worshippers, such as birthdays and anniversaries are acknowledged.

This is followed by a combination of both a traditional and contemporary formatted service of prayers, Children’s time, Bible readings, hymns/worship music, and a thoughtful message from our Minister. Following the message, offering is graciously received, and the service concludes with the congregation singing “Go Now in Peace.”

After Sunday service, all are invited to join downstairs in the Sunday School Room for coffee, cookies and conversation so we can get to know you!

Children's Time

Children’s time during our service is near the beginning, and the minister shares an age-appropriate message with the children followed by a children’s song and the Lord’s Prayer. The children are then invited to go downstairs to Sunday School where our teacher has prepared special activities geared to their age groups. The children return to the worship service for special times such as when Holy Communion is celebrated, or for Baptisms, Confirmations, and Remembrance Day acknowledgements.

Choir

Our choir currently sings two Sundays a month as well as special occasions (Easter, Thanksgiving, Remembrance Day, Christmas, etc...). The gift of music by the choir and our talented choir leaders and musicians is greatly appreciated and warmly received. As the familiar hymn goes.... “COME IN, COME IN AND SIT DOWN....YOU ARE A PART OF THE FAMILY...” 

Choir Practice

Choir practice is every Thursday at 11 am.  Anyone who likes to sing is welcome!  Music is such an integral part of regular worship.

Bible Chat

'Bible Chat' groups are held every Thursday at 12.30 p.m. Please follow the Event Calendar for updates.

Worship Committee

A Committee that is part of the official governing structure, the Worship Committee comprised of members of the congregation, is responsible for the worship ministry ensuring inclusive and relevant worship to the community.  This Committee is often involved with music details and strives to ensure a relevant and engaging service is provided.
